I found that following the Basic Essentials for the Busy Woman program was super easy. I think it was especially easy for me as a mom that I could start and stop throughout each week whenever I needed to and it was easy to pick up where I left off. I love how it puts you through simple stages and provide you with the tools to set a plan. It was much easier that there were documents in place for me to just fill in.
The program addressed some of my main struggles related to meal planning. It talked about subbing out higher calorie foods. It also helped me find snacks that could fill my cravings but not sell my calorie bucket.
I would say the biggest thing I took from the program is the concept of crowding out food. The program has helped me still enjoy foods I love but in smaller portions.
I would recommend the program to most people I know! Especially someone that likes tools and clear-cut guidelines to find what works for them. Also someone that wants accountability but doesn’t necessarily want daily interaction. The weekly follow up through text message was very helpful. Kasey is very relatable and she helps me find long term options without any judgment on my journey.
